A trust built from showing up, not from a business plan.
Arohnam Foundation Trust is a registered public charitable trust based in Motipur, Muzaffarpur, Bihar, working across Bihar and Delhi NCR.
Volunteers first. Paperwork later.
In May 2020, as the COVID-19 lockdown stranded tens of thousands of migrant workers on Bihar's roads, a small group of friends in Motipur set up a 10-day relief camp. No registration, no funding pipeline — just food, water and shelter for an estimated 20,000 people passing through.
That same group kept finding reasons to come back together: a temple cleaning drive, a park clean-up in Greater Noida, a tree-plantation weekend. By 2025, the informal habit had become a responsibility worth registering formally — and Arohnam Foundation Trust was born on 28th May 2025 under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882.
What we're working toward.
Mission
To respond directly to the everyday gaps in healthcare, education, sustainability and dignity faced by communities in Bihar and Delhi NCR — starting with what's most urgent, not what's most fundable.
Vision
A Bihar and a Delhi NCR where access to basic healthcare, digital and AI literacy, clean energy awareness, and community support is not dependent on where you were born.
How we work
Small teams, fast local action, and partnerships with hospitals, schools and government health missions rather than building parallel infrastructure.
The people behind the Trust.
Verifiable, on the record.
We publish our registration details because trust should be checkable, not just claimed.
